Dr. Bourke started his medical career in the pre-med program at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  While attending University he spent four years working with geriatric and terminally ill patients. Wishing to learn more about alternative treatment options available to these patients, Dr. Bourke first explored alternative medicine by obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Bourke then obtained a second Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Prior to joining the Far North Wellness Dr. Bourke was the Director of a large alternative medical clinic in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for a period of 20 years. While in Vancouver, Dr. Bourke was regularly invited to guest lecture at the University of British Columbia; Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and the School of Pharmacology. Dr. Bourke was also asked to conduct Grand Rounds at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.   Dr. Bourke is a past Director of the British Columbia Chiropractic Association and has held licenses in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom as a Chiropractor and/or a Naturopathic Physician.
